		<description>I&#039;m not sure what the status of the status updates is... I haven&#039;t seen it on my page yet.  It looks like you can allow individual apps to access your status updates. 		<description>Well thought-out post, and I agree with you.  Twitter is much too decentralized an idea to be centralized to one service.   
 
I&#039;m  curious about Facebook testing twitter-like statuses.  Has there been any shakedown on that?  That option doesn&#039;t show up for me on Facebook.   </description>
